Loader/Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Eastern Engineered Wood Products, a two-step wholesale distribution company, focused solely on selling engineered lumber to the building supply trade, is seeking a detail-oriented, forklift operator/loader to join our second shift, 5 p.m. start time. Summary
Drive forklift in order to load and unload material by performing the following duties:
Park tractor trailer in loading zone
Check-in, separate and distribute any returns on the tractor trailer to the appropriate department
Pickup paperwork for the assigned tractor trailer from the office & verify the delivery tickets are in the order the tractor trailer is routed to travel
Check-in the material to be loaded
Pull, measure and cut any missing material
Set sticks, load material and strap down the load
Inspect the load for loose sticks/blocks and ensure load is DOT compliant related to length, height and belly straps
Inspect the zone for any missed material, loose sticks or banding and handle accordingly
Park the tractor trailer in the warehouse and load hangers in the side box
Unload tractor trailers/rail cars as required
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Two years of forklift experience preferred, but not required
Knowledge of building lumber packs and experience in a lumber/steel yard and or loading and unloading tractor trailers is a plus
Ability to lift 100 pounds
Overtime and late-night hours are required
Excellent attendance
Record of safe operations
Math Assessment is required as apart of employement screening
