PHP Software Engineer
We are working with one of the UKs leading scientific organisations. My client works to ensure environmental, food and agriculture safety throughout the UK.
You will be working on a wide range of projects from bee health monitoring to crop standards regulation!
You will be joining a development team of 18 and will have plenty of opportunity to up skill and collaborate across the business.
The Angular Software Engineer will ideally have the following technical skills:
Laravel experience with recent versions.
Strong LAMP/PHP experience
Experience developing using Kanban or Scrum.
Understanding of MVC and other design patterns.
Some knowledge of Docker and Jenkins valued.The development tech stack they use is Angular with Laravel, PHP and MySQL. Ideally, they want someone who is happy to eventually work across the stack but are also happy for you to be fully bakcend focused.

This is a mainly remote role once you are on boarded with most of the technical team coming in 4-6 times a year to their office near York.
£50,000-£55,000 DOE
23 days holiday- rises to 27 with experience.
