Manpower Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at an Ethelene Plant in Fife. This pivotal role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and review of submittals, RFIs, and RFCs, providing expert recommendations.
Oversee contractor health and safety plans, including traffic control and erosion control measures.
Monitor and verify work quantities for accurate payment processing.
Identify and help resolve non-conformance issues in construction, ensuring compliance and quality control.
Serve as the lead company representative at various project sites, ensuring smooth operations and excellent contractor relations.
Experience
Proven experience in field construction planning, execution, and completions.
Willingness to travel to project sites, including potential overseas assignments.
Strong background in Construction Materials Testing procedures and familiarity with ASTM standards.
A proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with a commitment to providing excellent service.
Previous experience in petrochemical projects is an advantage.

Hours
Standard schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off
