About the role:
As a Risk Analyst, you’ll work on high risk merchant accounts for the largest FinTech company in the world. While using your advanced analytical skills to protect FIS from threats, you will partner with business leaders to identify risks, evaluate the effectiveness of controls, and promote continuous improvement.
About the team:
The High Risk Operations team works collaboratively with merchants, business development teams, relationship managers, transaction risk analysts, credit analysts, and legal teams to identify and decision regulatory and reputational risks to protect the company and our partners.
What you will be doing:
Track, review, decision, and communicate enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews of Higher Risk Merchants.  
Engage in conversations regarding Regulatory and Risk matters with internal and external teams.
Track and Implement Regulatory changes.
What you will need:
Excellent Analytical Skills
Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
Ability to understand and apply learned concepts
Ability to apply creative problem solving techniques and tools to compliance issues
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
Preferred if you have:
Worked in Payments Industry
Prior work in Regulatory compliance topics (FDA, FTC, etc)
Worked with Cryptocurrency, MSBs or Money Transmission regulations
Prior investigative or analytical roles
