Deputy Construction Department Manager

Job Description
AECOM is seeing a Deputy Construction Manager to be based in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Support the Construction Department Lead and collaborate with the local leadership team.
Strong understanding of project finances, forecasts, project controls
Preference for experience in aviation programs/projects.
Manage projects on a local to regional basis achieving quality and safety outcomes, financial  performance and client satisfaction. 
Develop strategy, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and execute projects.
Serve as a liaison between client personnel and other stakeholders regarding project opportunities and project activities, including planning, scheduling and overall project status.
Support the execution of strategies, major proposals, and interviews.
Develop and capture growth strategies and increase market share for key accounts.
Provide direction and oversight to AECOM staff and subcontractors.
Collaborate with the construction contractor activity to develop an efficient and cost-effective plan to implement the work, within the scheduled timeline and budget.
Promote an environment that promotes project safety protocols.
Mentor, develop, and train junior staff.
