Community Hospital Corporation (CHC), a DFW Top 100 Employer, is seeking an IT Associate Network Engineer that will work under the guidance and direction of the Director of Corporate IT Operations and work closely with the Network Engineers and Administrators within CHC, to provide assistance and coordinate data and wireless networks engineering and management activities.

The Associate, in collaboration with the Network Engineer, will be responsible for executing network device firmware updates to ensure the latest security patches and enhancements, conducting regular backups of network configurations to facilitate rapid recovery in case of system failures, as well as implementing approved configuration changes in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Additional responsibilities include:
Collaborate with the Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize network solutions.
Provide support for network-related issues and incidents, troubleshooting and resolving problems promptly.
Utilize network monitoring tools and technologies to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations in all network activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain network security measures.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Provide support during non-business hours as needed.
Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
Alternatively, possess industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CWNA.
1-2 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
Proficient in using network monitoring tools and technologies.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with industry best practices and standards related to network security.
Physical/Mental Stress Factors
Ability to sit, speak, hear, walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to focus at the computer monitor and type on a keyboard for several hours
Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
