We seek a dynamic and experienced leader to join our Health Practice team and drive our strategy, business development, and offering development.
Job Description
As the Business Development & Strategy Principal for the Health Practice you will shape and help execute our practice's strategy and drive business development efforts. You will be key in defining our health offerings and expanding our presence in the health sector by collaborating with other subject-matter experts, technical consultants, and external stakeholders. We are looking for a proactive team member to position Resultant as a trusted advisor and innovator in health technology, while supporting Resultant's expansion into new markets by shaping public sector offerings and services. Resultant is focused mainly on the state government market, but federal and local markets are potential targets as well. This role will be the national face of Resultant’s health expertise and thought leadership.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Resultant's Health Practice, including identifying growth opportunities, defining productization strategies, and aligning our services with the evolving needs of the health industry.
Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying and engaging with potential clients, cultivating relationships with key decision-makers, and driving new business opportunities in the health sector with emphasis toward state government and data vendor channel partners.
Productization: Apply your expertise to create innovative solutions/offers/services that address the unique challenges faced by government agencies. Work closely with Resultant productization and marketing efforts.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong executive-level client relationships within the health sector, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for service expansion.
Data Standards Governance: Stay current with data standards and interoperability in the health technology landscape, advising clients on best practices and strategies.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Resultant to ensure the successful delivery of health projects and solutions.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform our health practice's strategy and offerings.

Tracking where target states are in their public health data modernization journey and identifying opportunities for Resultant to engage
Aligning organizational and business transformations with public health IT modernization efforts
Articulating the vision for community information exchanges (CIEs) and the incorporation of social determinants of health (SDOH) / health related social needs (HRSNs)
Developing a data modernization strategy for behavioral health agencies and non-profit behavioral health associations
Crafting a vision for Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) data modernization and decision support system road maps
Bringing a perspective on improving governance and data sharing across agencies and localities to improve health and social determinants of health outcomes
Identifying health and human services enterprise opportunities for collaboration to improve customer experience and reduce duplicative IT investments
Work with public health insurance plans on business-development and data analytics strategy
Support government services companies on their growth and digital strategies
Counsel multiple communities and non-profit organizations on effective, sustainable, and systems-level responses to addressing social determinants of health, and unmet need for behavioral health and substance use services
Identify how to use federal and grant funding, including recent federal stimulus bills to achieve outcomes for communities.
How You Will Know You Are Successful
Success in this role can be measured by a combination of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the contribution toward achieving an aggressive growth rate for the education practice. Here's how success would be determined:
Business Development Achievement: Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets for the health practice, as outlined in the growth strategy. This would include tracking and closing new client contracts, expanding existing client relationships, and securing strategic partnerships.
Market Expansion: Expanding Resultant's presence in the health sector by entering new markets or expanding service offerings to existing markets. Growth in the number of net new clients and projects within the health practice would demonstrate success.
Productization Success: Successfully developing and launching new offerings and services tailored to the health sector. The adoption and impact of these products within government agencies would be key metrics.
Strategic Initiatives: Achieving key milestones in the health practice's strategic plan, such as the development of innovative solutions, the establishment of thought leadership in the industry, and the growth of our partner ecosystem.
Team Performance: Ensuring that the team under your leadership is meeting its goals and objectives. This includes tracking the team's contributions to business development, product development, and overall strategic execution.
Growth Rate Contribution: The ultimate measure of success is driving to the targeted 30% growth rate for yoy sales in the health practice. This would involve regularly tracking revenue growth and assessing the pace at which the practice is approaching this ambitious goal.
Market Analysis: Providing valuable insights into industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform the health practice's strategy and ensure it remains aligned with market demands.
Thought Leadership: Establishing yourself and Resultant as thought leaders in the health sector. This can be measured through speaking engagements at conferences, published articles, and recognition within the industry.
