Unit Plant Manager

Job Description
As a Unit Plant Manager, you will manage the total operation of the production lines of an assigned furnace on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis through the line management system and continuous shift operation to maximize production performance within established safety, quality and cost parameters.
The Unit Plant Manager will: 
Drive the plant furnace to achieve key performance goals (safety, quality, total cost, productivity, and flexibility)
Promote a manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement culture
Conduct production meetings and sponsor morning TPC meetings 
Lead and manage projects including furnace work and rebuilds 
Successfully meet plant KPI’s 
Manage performance and development for all direct reports
The Unit Plant Manager should have: 
Proven management and continuous improvement skills 
Ability to collaborate with team members and support employee engagement 
Ability to coach, mentor, and energize team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills
