Who are you?
You are an experienced Senior MEP Estimator or Senior MEP Cost Manager with a minimum of seven years of post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.
Objectives of the Job
The primary focus of this role is supporting commission management for the various projects we have with clients.  They must be a trusted employee of the business and be from a cost or estimating management background.
They are to have experience in real estate, high tech, or data center sectors to have credibility with the client and be able to quickly adapt to our environment.
Ability to produce estimates and negotiate contracts across the spectrum of projects and have expertise from an MEP background.
Your work approach to be collaborative both with our team and with all clients, contractors, and subcontractors.  Your approach is to ensure client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective service.
Key Elements
*Remote East Coast only
Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost reports.
Participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable refer major changes to line manager.
Manage cost checks and carry out evaluations on larger projects, and ensure timely and accurate cost checking, and valuation process.
Produce monthly cost reports and present to client.
Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.
Maintain central feedback and learning on cost estimating from prospects and projects and contribute to updating of best practices in estimating.
