Core Catalysts, LLC is seeking an experienced and strategic IT Director to join our team and lead the overall IT operations and strategy of our client's organization. As the IT Director, you will be responsible for managing the IT department, developing and implementing IT policies, overseeing the infrastructure and systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related functions.
You will work closely with senior management to align IT objectives with the company's goals and objectives. You will also collaborate with department heads to assess and address IT needs and provide guidance on technology-related decisions. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT strategies and plans to support the company's goals and objectives.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including infrastructure, systems, and support.
Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Collaborate with department heads to assess and address IT needs and provide guidance on technology-related decisions.
Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, performance management, and development.
Ensure the security and integrity of data and systems through the implementation and maintenance of security measures and protocols.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and products.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
Proven experience as an IT Director or in a similar leadership role.
Experience in Banking or Finance is preferred, but not required.
Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and operations.
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of IT budgeting and financial management.
Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
