Job Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking a Secret cleared Media Operations Officer to join us in Tampa, FL, supporting the Central Command Public Affairs Directorate (CCPA) where you will play a pivotal role in shaping communication strategies for one of the most critical commands in the U.S. military.
As a Media Operations Officer, you will be at the forefront of media engagement, ensuring CENTCOM's message resonates effectively with diverse audiences. You'll research, write, and coordinate responses to media queries, providing critical support during crisis situations and high operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, write, and coordinate draft communication products, including public affairs guidance, responses to queries, and talking points.
Conduct daily conference calls with public affairs counterparts to synchronize messaging strategies.
Provide media training expertise to senior CENTCOM leaders and designated spokespersons, preparing them for media engagements.
Plan and execute periodic public affairs briefings, coordinating media embeds for events involving key CENTCOM leadership.
Support emergent 24/7 shift surge requirements during crises or unforeseen events as directed by the CCPA Director.
