Project Manager / Scrum Master

The SQL Server Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated Project
Manager / Scrum Master to oversee and maintain the adoption of agile
methodologies across the team. This will include training in the methodology
and tooling, coaching and guidance as the team become self-sufficient. The
candidate will be expected to work with team to create plans, identify critical
success factors, define agile metrics, assess and bridge technical process gaps
as well as develop risk mitigation strategies for various technology
* Driving requirements gathering and analysis processes for new systems,
developments, enhancements and other projects
* Work with appropriate partners to develop project scope of work documents
and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work
schedule and any related risks
* Assign, schedule, train, review, and monitor project work to ensure that
progress is within expected guidelines, completed on time, and within
budget. Mentor and provide expertise to other project team members
* Identify the roles of project team members, project reporting structures,
and any training requirements that may be needed for a team member to
complete an IT project
* Coordinating and contributing to the build out of technical design
documentation with stakeholders across organizational boundaries
* Running daily stand up meetings, retrospectives, and aggregating agile
metrics in to reports
* Assisting in the build out and dissemination of enterprise agile
standards and use of VSTS for project management
* Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve issues in an efficient
* Excellent organizational, communication, and business/technical writing
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
* High level understanding of IT and project management
* Proficient with Excel or other data manipulation tools
* Ability to manage a team of 7-19 associates
* Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server or Visual Studio Team
* Understanding of Agile/Scrum Principles
* Experience creating reports in Excel or Power BI
* Experience creating requirements and technical design documentation
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, infrastructure components, and system
operations is a plus
* 2-3 years of project management experience
* College degree preferred
