Job_Description Applied Educational Systems (AES) is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to help accelerate their sales growth. For over 30 years, AES has empowered lifelong learners by developing easy-to-use curriculum systems that save time for teachers and promote interaction. A successful Strategic Account Executive will drive activity and behavior that supports the growth and retention of AES' existing customer base. Job_Description/Major_Responsibilities * Ownership of annual revenue growth and relationship building within a defined territory of large, strategic accounts * Responsible for full sales cycle including ongoing relationship management and renewal sales * Increase annual revenue each year in territory * Develop and execute quarterly plans to achieve revenue targets * Leverage multiple forms of communication including Phone, Video, Email and Chat * Promote AES' core values daily while sharing customer success stories whenever possible * Requirements * Proven performance of exceeding sales targets * 5+ years experience in similar role * Experience in SaaS software, subscription-based sales * Experience selling to the K-12 education market at the district level is required; selling into the Career and Technical Education (CTE) market is a plus; selling K-12 in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Virginia or North Carolina is also a plus * Experience managing a complex, lengthy sales process of 12+ months * Demonstration of highly effective communications and interpersonal skills * Relationship building and management with key decision makers in districts * Ability to travel 20% and create relationships with district administrators and teachers throughout the country * Advanced level in Salesforce or similar CRM experience * Bachelor's degree preferred * Applied Educational Systems (AES) develops digital curriculum systems for Health Science and Business Education teachers.
