Job Description
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Environmental Professional - MA LSP to join our New England Remediation practice. You will work with a diverse team of technical leaders and talented staff across a broad range of environmental disciplines delivering Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) and other remediation consulting services to our key clients.  
We are seeking candidates well-versed in the MCP and associated guidance, who will be able to contribute to the delivery of all phases of existing MCP projects and development of creative solutions for new projects.  AECOM conducts MCP activities for utilities, industrial, commercial, federal, and state clients.
This position calls for excellent organizational and time management skills, flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and incorporate new skills. We seek a candidate with the ability to communicate (orally and in writing) effectively with members of the project team (clients, regulators, office and site personnel).  The successful candidate will also be committed to the team’s success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.
The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
Direct investigation and remediation activities and provide LSP certification for MCP projects, as well as mentorship of mid- and junior level staff undertaking activities on these projects.
Collaborate with other LSPs and other technical and regulatory specialists to track regulatory changes and technical advancements to develop innovative strategies for site investigation, remediation, and closure for new and existing projects.
Provide technical and/or regulatory leadership for remediation projects throughout New England, the US, and internationally.
Develop proposals, including work scope, budgets, and schedules for MCP and other remediation projects;
Manage or provide review of technical work, and field activities, including performing site visits to inspect site activities, in accordance with the contracted scope of work, budget, schedule and legislative/industry standards.
Review, coordinate or prepare written reports, work plans, and technical memorandums; analyze data and develop supported conclusions.
Work collaboratively with other teams within the Remediation department, and
professionals across AECOM internal business lines.
Proactively identify opportunities to increase project efficiencies and add value to client service offerings.
