The Massachusetts registered Architect or Architectural Draftsman should have experience managing all phases of architectural design development from inception to installation and must be able to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity. This position will have high client interaction on a regular basis. Qualified individuals must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a client-centered focus, and the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities to include:
Working with clients to determine requirements for building projects
Preparing detailed drawings showing both the appearance and interior structure of a building project
Must know CAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Cloud suite
Directing staff in the development of project drawings, studies and budgets
Visiting building worksites to ensure work is being done according to architectural plans
Coordinating design fulfilment drawings from interior designers and outside architects.
Coordinating third party engineering to integrate into design work
Construction and design drawing sets
Knowledge of design process, including FF&E, specifications, finish and material selections
Must be familiar with Procore
Must be willing to stamp drawings
Requirements
Ideal candidate MUST meet following qualifications to be considered:
- 5 years of experience in residential architectural design projects
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Design Manager and Microsoft
Office (Excel), Procore.
