TITLE: DELIVERY PROJECT MANAGER
PAY RATE: $37.19/HR
LOCATION: WORK FROM HOME
SCHEDULE: MON FRI, 8AM 5PM EST
The Process, Portfolio, & Delivery Management (PPDM) Team is responsible for building and sustaining enhanced capabilities that support efficient management and execution of the Enterprise Marketing portfolio. The PPDM Team drives operational efficiency and excellence in execution by building, using, and monitoring processes and tools that optimize the way that Enterprise Marketing organization works. This role will be a part of the Process, Portfolio, & Delivery Management Team and will report to the Sr. Portfolio & Delivery Manager that supports a specific portion of our comprehensive portfolio. The Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for timeline/project management to drive efficient execution of our Marketing programs. This role will serve as a liaison between Marketing Strategy, Enterprise Marketing Resource Management, and Internal/External Creative Agencies to drive efficient and effective execution of work while ensuring that visibility to the on-going status of projects within the portfolio is maintained.
The Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and driving the successful completion of projects for the Marketing Department, including prioritization, project planning, and communication. Primary duties and responsibilities include:
* Working closely with aligned Marketing Strategy and Delivery Management leaders to understand yearly goals and business objectives
* Intake and review project requests, define appropriate tasks, identify cross functional resources, and construct timelines needed to complete
* Accurately updating project statuses in MRM solutions (as it specifically pertains to project plans)
* Coordinating and managing numerous workflows (Tier 1 & 2 projects with high to medium strategic value/level of execution/complexity) from marketing strategy development through release, ensuring on-time completion/ in market delivery
* Coordinating large cross-functional teams to deliver fully integrated marketing campaigns on time
* Working with stakeholders from key functional areas to understand potential project impact on the portfolio/marketing organization, aligning project work and executing project tasks accordingly
* Communicating project needs and coordinating with the Enterprise Marketing Resource Manager to ensure resource demands can be met, shifting priorities where needed
* Proactively evaluating project activities and tracking project issues/risks and the impacts to project delivery, building contingency plans, helping develop strategic solutions, and monitoring issue resolution to mitigate risks
* Adhering to process and documentation standards to ensure projects are tracked and completed on-time and in compliance with standards
* Driving weekly discussions/status meetings with Marketing Strategy leaders (Sr. Director and below) regarding campaign health & adherence to standards, where appropriate
* Creating status sheets and presenting the health of your projects, including any issues/risks, to leadership on a monthly basis
* Engaging and influencing the Process Design & Optimization Team by identifying opportunities for process optimization and partnering with the team on integration into our existing processes
* Identifying delivery management best practices, developing documentation, and presenting back to the team
* Effectively supporting the Sr. Manager of Delivery for your portfolio with planning and portfolio management
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of project and/or portfolio management experience
* 2+ years of experience working in a creative marketing agency or marketing organization
* Working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
* Well versed understanding of the management of multi-channel projects, such as digital, print, video, email, store experiences, and social media projects
* An understanding of marketing workflows and skillsets
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs
* Impactful and persuasive communication skills, both written and oral; capability to impact and influence at all levels of the organization
* Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and operational skills
* Keen ability to prioritize and make quick decisions; ability to flex and navigate effectively through ambiguity
* Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to always look for the most optimal solutions
* Strong planning skills; capability to look around the corner to determine risks and mitigating strategies
* Results driven attitude with the ability to multi-task a variety of initiatives/projects in a fast-paced environment
* Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
* Familiarity with MRM solutions (Workfront) preferred
* Familiarity with paid media channels preferred
* A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field required; Masters Degree in a relevant field and/or relevant Project Management Certifications highly preferred
