Vector is seeking an experienced consultant for security and safety engineering including security testing. You will:
Job Description
Advise top companies in the automotive and related critical industries in product development and change processes.
Focus your consulting work in the development of secure and safe critical E/E systems in accordance with relevant standards and regulation, such as ISO26262, SOTIF, ISO 21434, UNECE R155 CSMS and others.
Analyze complex projects according to cybersecurity/safety standards, and develop suggestions for their improvement, which you will implement in a results-oriented way with our customers on site.
Support the development of cybersecurity/safety concepts, design and implementation.
Conduct cybersecurity specific test, such as fuzz test and penetration test.
Lead mixed teams of customer and Vector internal colleagues.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Solid experience in the development of safety-critical systems and are familiar with the underlying methods, processes, and standards.
Consulting or engineering experience in Cybersecurity and Functional Safety preferred.
Substantial experience in automotive E/E engineering especially SW development (e.g. AUTOSAR) and test
Cybersecurity related test experience preferred.
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, first-class communication abilities, a confident demeanor.
Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service orientation.
B.S. or M.S.in EE/SE/CE/CS or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
