Registered Nurse ICU

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Responsibilities
Assess, monitor, and evaluate critically ill patients' condition
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
Manage and assist with invasive procedures and mechanical ventilation
Monitor and interpret vital signs, EKG readings, and laboratory results
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
Stay up-to-date with advancements in critical care nursing practices and participate in continuing education
Effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
2 years experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit minimum, Open Heart Trained- preferred, Must have a minimum of 1 year travel exp
Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles and practices
Ability to assess and interpret vital signs, EKG readings, and laboratory results
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Bill Rate: $1,980@36hrs Weekly
Desired Start Date: ASAP 
Length of Assignment: 14 Weeks
Hours per Week: 36 Hrs
Shift and Time: 12hr Nights: 1845-0715 
Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend 
On-call Requirements: None 
Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs 
Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units- Med/surg, Med/tele, Acute/tele, Progressive Care and ED with prior experience 
Experience Required: 2 years experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit minimum, Open Heart Trained- preferred, Must have a minimum of 1 year travel exp. 
License Required: KS RN or Compact RN License 
Certificates Required: BLS, ACLS, & NIH
Housing Assistant: Provided
