Mid-Level Corporate/M&A Attorney - Detroit
We are seeking an attorney with at least four years of relevant M&A experience to join the well-established Transactions Practice Group in our Detroit office. This position will involve primarily working on US and international private company M&A transactions, with a focus on middle market private equity transactions. The associate would be joining a growing, energetic, and collaborative culture that values character, work ethic, and personal/professional development. Qualified candidates must have extensive M&A experience. The ideal candidate also will have sophisticated document drafting skills and the ability to manage/lead smaller M&A transactions and be the lead associate on larger M&A transactions. The candidate should be comfortable with direct interaction with senior partners, specialist teams, junior associates, and clients. A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid work ethic are required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.
