We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in geriatrics to join our team. As an LPN specializing in geriatrics at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to elderly patients.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to geriatric patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner
Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans
Document patient information accurately and timely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and personalized care
Provide emotional support and companionship to elderly patients
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in geriatric nursing
Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards elderly patients
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical stamina and ability to lift and transfer patients
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Pay Rate: $1,200 - $1,280weekly depending on your experience
