Levell II IT Technician/Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:
The Level II Technician/Engineers responsibilities will include, but is not limited to, troubleshooting and servicing IT-related issues for the company and its employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing wired and wireless network systems Computer Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
* Handle repairs and exchanges of defective devices
* Collaborate on the improvement of network design and connectivity efficiency
* Perform routine network maintenance
* Maintain inventory of network electronics
* Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches
* Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
* Document all technical procedures and user guides
* Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
* Recommend hardware and software improvements
* Track customer issues and resolutions using ticketing systems
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
* Fundamental knowledge of networking, hardware, and software
* Ability to prioritize and multitask
* Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
* Deadline and detail-oriented
* Knowledge of TCP/IP and data protocols
* Ability to build rapport with clients
* Positive and professional demeanor
* Minimal Oversight Required but a Strong Team Player
* Excellent communication Skills
* Valid Drivers License (DMV printout required)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* 5 to 7 years previous experience in IT Helpdesk field or the MSP related field
* High School Diploma
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Sitting and/or standing, walking, and climbing stairs
* Twisting, bending, stooping, pushing, grasping, and reaching
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs
