Hello, my name is Mandisa Jones and I am the owner of Jones PT Physical Therapy and Physical Training. Jones PT has been helping patients in the Atlanta Metro area since 2006. I am looking to hire a Georgia licensed physical therapist for the downtown Decatur and Tucker Locations.

Jones PT is an outpatient physical therapy clinic, which focuses on various types of injuries, conditions (neurologic, orthopedic, or vestibular, some pediatric, as well as the common joint/spine disorders and surgeries). I am looking for a compassionate, forward-thinking provider who excels at assessing patients’, devising creative but effective treatment plans, with the ability to multi-task. Jones PT operates first and foremost with friendly service to our patients, a positive environment while providing one on one care to our patients. Time for Care: The schedule allows for therapist to be hands on with patients. We provide consistent, quality, and necessary care for all patients.

Requirements
Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
Providing interpretation of prescriptions, performing an initial evaluation, and establishing a treatment plan with functional and/or work related goals
Appropriately progressing the treatment and goals
Periodic and timely written communication to physicians
Appropriate discharge management and patient follow-up
Supervision of rehabilitation aides and administrative staff as needed
Supervision of PTAs when applicable per the appropriate state practice act
Documentation: All PT’s are responsible for documenting all treatment and completing all written communications in a timely manner, including but not limited to, initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, daily S.O.A.P. notes, functional status reports, functional capacity evaluations and insurance/plan of care forms as necessary
Community Services (such as):
Hosting a booth at a health related fair
Presenting an in-service on orthopedic injuries or prevention
Providing coverage to special events such as sport camps, races, tournaments & lectures
Performing complimentary screenings to the public with appropriate referrals as necessary
Ability to demonstrate compassion toward patients
Service oriented
Interoffice communication and follow up
Education: Staff in-services to coordinate and maintain the best care throughout the company
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Maintain state license
Complete all compliance standards as requested
Energetic and a team player
