Are you an EXPERT Salesforce Developer looking for a mostly remote opportunity?
Our client, a fast-growing wealth management firm, is seeking a talented Salesforce Architect / Lead Developer to join their team. In this position, you will play a key role in migrating our client away from a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and establishing an in-house Salesforce team. You will be responsible for both hands-on development work and setting the architectural direction for our client's Salesforce instance.
This is a remote position that requires approximately 2 days per month onsite in Chicago. Candidates must live within about 150 miles of Chicago and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the migration of our client's Salesforce platform away from an MSP to an in-house team.
Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
Architect and develop custom solutions, integrations, and extensions on the Salesforce platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project timelines.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce best practices, platform capabilities, and industry trends.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and updates, and recommend enhancements to optimize platform performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Salesforce platform, including hands-on development experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
Proven experience leading Salesforce implementations, including migrating from Managed Service Providers to in-house teams.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Architect are highly desired.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Experience working in wealth management or another finance-related environment is a plus.
