Apex Placement and Consulting is partnering with one of their premier clients in Ossining, NY, in search of a Day Shift Nurse Manager who values each patient's dignity and provides care irrespective of social or health circumstances.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

* Day shift to meet your scheduling needs - 9:00am-5:00pm
* Competitive pay rate based on experience: $130,000-$135,000 annually

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
* Utilize nursing, leadership, and administrative expertise to coordinate and manage care services
* Utilize provided phone for staff's round-the-clock access to management.
* Supervise staff to ensure compliance with current facility policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with Nursing Supervisors to organize regular staff meetings, case discussions, and training sessions.
* Conduct performance evaluations for Nursing Supervisors and Charge Nurses.
* Implement and maintain quality assurance measures through review and oversight.
* Supervise clinical care and operational aspects.
* Coordinate with nursing and medical teams to ensure consistent care delivery.
* Address reports of staff misconduct with appropriate warnings to maintain a safe and productive environment.
* Handle reports of concerning resident or visitor behavior to ensure safety for all.
* Work with Nursing Supervisors to monitor and ensure adequate staffing levels.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
* Must hold an RN license in New York State without restrictions; a BSN or related bachelors degree is preferred.
* Minimum 7 years of supervisory experience in acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings; at least 2 years in a Nursing Supervisor, Manager, or equivalent role is highly desirable.
* Strong clinical and communication skills with proven ability to mentor and motivate staff.
* Proficient in initiating and managing IV therapy or willing to learn within 6 months.
* Knowledgeable about infection control practices, including flu, COVID, and other infectious disease response protocols.
* Computer literate, familiar with EHR and Microsoft Office.
