As a Data Engineer at Codex Tech-IT, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable data pipelines and data storage solutions. You will work closely with our Data Scientists and Software Engineers to optimize our data infrastructure and enable the extraction of valuable insights from large datasets. Furthermore, you will be involved in monitoring and troubleshooting data-related issues and driving data engineering best practices within the organization.

Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
Build and maintain data storage and retrieval systems, ensuring data quality and availability
Collaborate with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to optimize data workflows for analytical and reporting purposes
Develop and maintain data integration solutions to synchronize data across multiple systems
Identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency
Monitor data pipelines and implement proactive measures to ensure operational efficiency
Document data engineering processes and contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow or Luigi
Familiarity with cloud-based data technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud
Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and a focus on data quality and accuracy
Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations is a plus
