We are currently seeking a Smart Home AV Technician to join our team. In this role, you will serve as an installer and work alongside our team of on-site Project Managers, Programmers & Installers, assisting the company as a whole. You will engage in all daily tasks on-site involving but not limited to the installation of Smart Home Control Systems, Audio-Video Systems, Network Racks & Equipment, Speakers, TVs, Home Theaters, Video Walls, Smart Cameras, Smart Doorbells, Low Voltage Wiring & Terminations, etc.
You, as a Candidate, must be presentable, well-spoken and have a strong background of interacting with Clients/Contractors/Team Members and possess knowledge of Low Voltage Cabling Types, Tools, Drilling, Mounting, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
Installation of Equipment and Systems such as Motorized Shades, TVs, Speakers, Cameras, AV Racks, etc.
Assist our team of Technicians, Installers & Programmers.
Meet with Project Manager to set daily tasks and expectations.
Maintain daily job site cleanliness and adherence to job site requirements.
Run and terminate low voltage wires at job sites.
Knowledge of running wires, mounting TVs, Speakers, etc.
Drive to Livingston, NJ Office location with personal car.
Dispatch Company Van from Livingston, NJ Office location to job sites.
Ability to Load/Unload packages at job sites, warehouse & office.
Load/Unload Company Van/Personal Car and drive to job sites with equipment.
Account for daily installation of equipment.
Adherence to local State, Federal & Traffic Laws.
Requirements
Qualifications:
AV/ Wiring / Construction field installation experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
Basic knowledge of Computers, Microsoft Office Suite / Tech Savvy
Basic knowledge of Audio-Video Systems
Basic knowledge of Mounting, Tools, Construction or Electrical concepts
Running Low Voltage wiring and connectivity skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Driver’s License and Car is a must. Willing to drive to on-site projects in NJ & NYC area.
Benefits
Salary: $20-$25 / Hour depending on Qualifications
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 5:30pm | +Overtime
Expense Reimbursement: EZ-Pass & Gas Included
