POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Aviation Business Development Specialist, your main task will be to generate profitable sales by establishing and cultivating long-term client relationships in the business aviation sector, for existing and new business lines. You'll use your experience to network and search for potential clients throughout the United States. Your success in this position will depend on your self-motivation, results-driven nature, and ability to build strong relationships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Establishing a strong and thriving base of customers through prospecting and networking with your business aviation contacts.
Developing strategies for working with customers in a primarily virtual manner, supplementing with occasional in-person networking.
Accelerating new customer acquisition and maintaining accurate sales pipelines and reporting.
Demonstrating the ability to close sales with evidence of strong close percentages.
Working with Marketing to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns.
Helping to develop sales strategies/processes and the ability to train future employees on processes/strategies.
Developing long-term strategic relationships with customers to ensure that IFCC is the first call when they need staffing assistance.
Ensuring that once new accounts are signed, they are properly set up, launched, and maintained.
Exhibiting superior ongoing service of all accounts, forecasts, proposals, and account activities while maintaining accurate records in the company CRM.
Meeting revenue and sales goals as agreed upon and scheduled.
Being an integral part of evolving the company's strategic growth model by providing educated input on the market and customer feedback to the executive team.
Representing the company by attending trade shows and industry events.
Tracking and monitoring your results and being proud to share these transparently with management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* At least 3 years of Aviation sales experience * preferred business aviation
* Proven track record of selling to different decision-makers, from large enterprise/Fortune 500 companies to small flight and maintenance departments
* Previous staffing experience is an advantage
* Familiarity with CRM and ATS software
*Apart from the above qualifications, the ideal candidate should possess the following competencies and skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 environment, which includes Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams, is required.
* Additionally, self-motivation, excellent listening skills, and the ability to solve problems are essential.
* The candidate should be comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
* The ability to build rapport and understand the business requirements of senior decision-makers within the Business Aviation industry is also important.
* The candidate should be willing to travel 25-30% to various trade shows and networking events throughout the year.
