We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced subject matter expert (SME) for our IT services organization. Your vast technical capabilities and industry experience will help guide our prospects, clients, and internal teams. You will work closely with our vCIO's to recommend and architect repeatable and standardized solutions for new and existing clients. You will serve as a top level support resource to our Network Operations Center and Professional Services teams. Your data analytics capabilities will help us integrate our internal systems to streamline operations while giving us insight into our performance. An excellent candidate must constantly keep up-to-date with advancements of the IT/MSP field. Apart from their education and experience, they must have leadership qualities, as well as a strong strategic and business acumen. The goal is to ensure that IT adds maximum value to our clients and facilitates the success of our business.
* Understand customer requirements and business objectives
* Provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals
* Design IT systems and networks ensuring the right architecture and functionality
* Support new technology implementation
* Manage IT initiatives and coordinate the NOC and Pro Services teams
* Guide continual improvement to our Managed Services
* Provide Tier 3 assistance with issues escalated by technicians and engineers
* Revise existing systems and suggest improvements
* Develop IT policies and practices
* Data analytics and integration on PSA, RMM, and other data sets
* Proven experience as IT Consultant
* Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
* Experience with various operating systems, databases, virtualization, and cloud computing
* Experience with network equipment and LAN/WAN configuration
* Experience with data analysis, (SQL, R, Python); familiarity with programming is an asset
* Knowledge of IT security (e.g. HIPAA, PCI, etc.) and data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR)
* An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
* A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
* Customer service orientation
* Interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills
* BSc/BA in computer science, IT or relevant field; MSc/MBA in business will be a plus
* Professional certifications (e.g. MCSE, CCNP, VCP, CISSP, etc.) are an asset
