Overview :
Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO). We provide Phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Responsibilities :
Provide timely and accurate support for laboratory information management systems and other supported applications for internal and external users;
Provide system enhancements, development, improvement, documentation of processes and training where appropriate;
Attend to requested updates and tickets – resolution will include gathering requirements, coding changes as needed, testing changes made and deploying updates globally;
Update and maintain system documentation (Technical Manual, Design Specification, etc.);
Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are resolved in a timely fashion;
Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources; and
Perform deployments of application/product releases to production environments globally.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field;
Good organizational skills, very detail oriented;
Strong analytical and communication skills;
Basic programming knowledge;
Experience working with SoftPathDX or SCC Soft Computer is a plus; and
Previous experience working in a commercial LIMS such as LabVantage is a plus.
