Sr. Financial Planning Analyst

Summary:          
Financial Analyst provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects. 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, working capital, pricing analysis, and investments including M&A modeling
Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management
Prepares forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas
Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
Conducts special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses
Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Must be a US Person (due to export control/trusted supplier rules)
Bachelor's degree (B.A.), MBA preferred, in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university
5 - 7 years of related experience with manufacturing background strongly preferred
Aerospace & Defense, Space, Medical and Industrial markets specific industry experience preferred
Working experience with GAAP accounting principles
M&A experience preferred with focus on value creation analysis
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
US citizenship or permanent resident alien status is required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred) degree in in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university
5 - 7 years of related experience with manufacturing background strongly preferred
