As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction, installation, and repair of commercial structures. Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Measure, cut, and shape materials, such as wood, plastic, and drywall.
Construct frameworks, including walls, floors, and ceilings.
Install doors, windows, and hardware.
Install and repair various fixtures and finishes, such as cabinets, countertops, and trim.
Perform general construction tasks, such as leveling, scaffolding, and cleanup.
Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and project managers.
Complete projects within designated timelines and budgets.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Carpenter in commercial construction.
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent training.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.
Strong knowledge of building materials and construction methods.
Ability to operate and maintain a variety of carpentry tools and equipment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and installation.
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
