Tax Accountant - CPA Candidate

Hire Resolve is a leading recruitment agency specializing in finance and accounting roles. Our client, a reputable CPA firm, is seeking a dedicated Tax Accountant who is a CPA candidate. As a Tax Accountant, you will work closely with clients and team members to handle tax preparations and compliance tasks while gaining valuable experience towards becoming a Certified Public Accountant.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
Research and analyze tax laws and regulations
Assist with tax planning and strategies
Communicate effectively with clients to provide tax advice and guidance
Ensure compliance with tax filing deadlines and requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete tax documentation
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Currently pursuing CPA certification or already a CPA candidate
1-3 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a CPA firm
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits
Salary: $75K/yr - $95K/yr, negotiable. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
