THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD 
Job Description: Senior Logistics Manager primary role is to provide logistics management support in the execution of assigned projects and/or programs by the customer and its associated customers. Where applicable, the contractor ‘Senior Logistics Manager’ shall provide technical and sustainment recommendations to the customers, Government Project Officers, and/or Government Program Managers  
Responsibilities: 
Provide project / program support and coordination of loan requests from SOF units (e.g. administration of the PM-ES Loans), maintain accuracy and currency of the information and data within USG systems (i.e. SOLMAN, SSAVIE, GOLD / SAP or like  applications), and ensuring efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements and complete any loss actions (i.e. reports of survey, FLIPLs, etc.). 
Monitor customer service and time objectives to ensure they are achieved within existing program and financial constraints. 
Provide Government PM-ES equipment loan coordination in support of SOF Units; to include administration, maintaining accuracy and currency of the information and data within the USG Logistics Applications (i.e. SOLMAN/SAVIE). 
Generate and provide Government Loan Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) and/or Property Accountability Reports (PAR) to SOF Units / APOs, maintain loan requesting and receiving points of contacts, provide programmatic recommendations, and report generation. 
Support execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. 
Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives, facilitate initiative integration for operating entities, distribution, and transportation and serve as the customer liaison for SOF units and relevant stakeholders. 
Attend technical and financial related In-Process Reviews (IPRs), Performance Work Reviews, Program Management Reviews (PMRs) etc. 
Work with customer’s Requiring and Owning Activities, Customers, Government staff, and external contractors in a highly professional manner and provide quality assistance to the staff as required. 
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University with 4 years of experience or 8 years relevant experience as Logistics Manager / Logistician.   
Working knowledge of Defense Logistics Management Standards.  
Working knowledge of applicable DoD Instruction (i.e. 3110.05 / 5000.02 / 5000.64 / Etc.). 
Working systems knowledge of USG Logistics Systems (i.e. SOLMAN / DPAS / SSAVIE / Etc.). 
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a project team member and independently. 
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
Excellent critical, creative, and analytical skills. 
Thorough familiarity with MS Office Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.   
Function at a level of performance similar to GS-12/NH-III or equivalent. 
 Active Secret Clearance is required.
