We are looking for a General Manager for our Portland Bike Share and Scooter Share Operations.
As the main client contact and strategic leader of the entire business unit, the General Manager of Portland will focus on ensuring complete adherence to contract terms as well as an exceptional client experience. 
Leading our high-performing teams - Field Operations Associates, Mechanics, Station Technicians, and Warehouse Associates - the General Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering our mission, while simultaneously executing Asset Maintenance, In-field Service Delivery, Battery swapping, Rebalancing, Footprint Expansion, Asset Retrofitting, and Asset Refurbishment.
Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement, while simultaneously driving accountability. Own staffing plans and recruiting process for all seasons and special projects.
Operational Excellence: Streamline and optimize processes to deliver increased ridership and drive operational efficiencies. 
Unionized Labour Management: Develop and maintain positive relations with union representatives, ensuring a harmonious working environment and successful labor negotiations.
Change Management: Drive organizational change initiatives, fostering innovation.
Client Management: Lead client relations as well as manage client requests to ensure timely resolution of all operational escalations.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards to meet customer expectations and to ensure Health and safety regulations.
KPI Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Client/SHIFT Transit Operational KPIs
P&L Management: Own and manage the business unit’s P&L

Requirements
Lead and Develop others: Proven experience in leading large-scale operations and developing high-performing teams, showing tangible results.

Analyze and Problem-solve: Experience managing large-scale projects, taking front-line insights, and crafting solutions to improve operations.

Be technology proficient: Strong understanding of IT solutions and app-based services to enhance operational processes.

Additional Information
This is an on-site job opportunity, which may require working irregular hours to achieve the business needs.
All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities and regular working hours to accomplish company key performance indicators.
