ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning Analyst to join our team. As a Planning Analyst at ARETUM, you will be responsible for conducting analysis, developing plans, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
Providing planning support, operational research, project management, planning and facilitating meetings and correspondence, coordinating planning efforts, and developing and writing plans using the FEMA Six-Step Planning Process.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and provide recommendations.
Develop and maintain detailed plans and schedules to support project execution.
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or areas for improvement.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Requirements
5+ years working on planning-related projects
A sound understanding of emergency management response programs and FEMA’s role in coordinating the federal response to support state and local partners
Ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with planning partners or other multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to receive a public trust suitability prior to beginning work on the project
Preferred
Existing DHS or FEMA Entry on Duty suitability
Experience working in insurance or national security related field
Experience in federal government consulting
Experience in IT, cybersecurity, or national security related field
Familiarity with Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/FEMA programs or initiatives
