Sawcreek, a Gold Star Community located in the heart of The Poconos, is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Lead. As the Kitchen Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for food preparation, cooking, and storage
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
Monitor food quality and presentation to meet customer expectations
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate food service for special events
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Requirements:
Previous experience as a kitchen lead or similar role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
