Summary/Objective
This role would report into the design and manufacturing arm of analytical instruments. As a rapidly growing organization, we are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the development of innovative products in a collaborative environment.
The Manufacturing Technician will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, with primary responsibilities including instrument assembly and testing. Additionally, the technician will provide support to our R&D engineers in various aspects of product development, including prototype build and testing, manufacturing process refinement, and production line setup. The role also encompasses tasks such as material receiving, incoming inspection, product packaging/shipping, and inventory control. As a key member of our team, the technician will be expected to undertake additional duties as assigned, reflecting the dynamic nature of our startup environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
·         Perform instrument assembly and testing according to established procedures and quality standards.
·         Collaborate with R&D engineers to support product development activities, including prototype build and testing.
·         Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes and production line setup.
·         Manage material receiving, conduct incoming inspections, and maintain inventory control.
·         Coordinate product packaging and shipping activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
·         Support other duties as assigned, contributing to various aspects of company operations as needed.
Requirements
·         Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, or equivalent experience.
·         Previous experience in instrument manufacturing preferred.
