We have an immediate opening for a seasoned Senior QA Engineer to enhance our team's capabilities in delivering high-quality software. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure our software's quality and reliability by contributing to both manual and automated testing efforts. With a strong emphasis on manual testing, you'll also leverage your expertise in the latest automation tools and frameworks to complement our development processes efficiently. We offer competitive compensation, as well as many benefits (see below). The hourly compensation for this role is $50-$65/hr.
Requirements
For this role, it’s important that you can hit the ground running with the following:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of QA engineering experience in a large enterprise IT environment, preferably within Retail, Fintech, or Financial Services sectors.
Comprehensive expertise in software testing, including a strong foundation in manual testing methodologies and proficiency with automated testing tools (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright), for thorough end-to-end testing. This encompasses a proven ability to identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Solid experience with mobile payment systems, including a deep understanding of payment gateways, digital wallets, and NFC technology, to ensure secure and efficient transaction processing.
Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright for end-to-end testing, integrating these tools with Continuous Integration (CI) systems to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and troubleshooting using JavaScript and Java code, including the ability to navigate logs and understand code segments for effective issue resolution.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the development team and other stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
A proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to dive into the technical details.
A team player mindset, with the ability to see the bigger picture and contribute beyond designated tasks.
A strong appetite for continuous learning and adaptation in a dynamic and evolving technological environment.
