Today we are hiring a Nursing Clinical Manager - Operating Room for our client in West Reading, PA.
The hospital is a Center for Bariatric Surgery, total joints, cardiac, DaVinci Robot, ENT, Ortho, GYN, Breast Stereotaxic program and a Level I Trauma Center caring for 17,000 patients undergoing surgical procedures each year. We have 24 brand new operating rooms, 6 with hybrid capabilities, including robotic surgery. Advancements in spinal surgery including minimally invasive procedures along with Stealth guided navigation system for brain surgery and shunt placement are found in our ORs.
Responsibilities:
Assists the Nursing Unit Director in the overall management of the clinical and administrative activities of the designated unit and department that they support in order to ensure patients the provision of quality care.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing - OR - Non-Nursing Bachelor's degree with an MSN - OR - Doctoral degree in Nursing
Experience
Operating Room Experience Preferred
Certification and Licensure
BLS Certification
If applicable as per the department assigned; ACLS Certification
If applicable as per the department assigned; ACLS, Trauma
If applicable as per the department assigned, PALS Certification
If applicable as per the department assigned, Peri anesthesia Nursing Certification
PA Registered Nurse License
