Facility Manager

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct facility inspections and process maintenance requests.  
Provide quality customer service to all users of the facility.  
Supervise and evaluate facilities technicians.   
Coordinate with supply chain department to maintain facility supplies, tools and consumable products including chemicals and gases. 
Perform maintenance activities as appropriate.  
Work with outside vendors, inspectors, and contractors to complete projects as necessary.   
Assist with training and development of facility staff.  
Lead the Safety efforts by developing and enforcing Safety policies and procedures.  
Implement and execute emergency procedures as needed.  
Assist with preparation, administration, and evaluation of facility special events.  
Monitor security system and check all perimeter, office, mechanical, and storage room doors.  
Coordinate construction and renovation projects and provide ongoing communication about such projects to staff.  
Perform related duties as required during occasional nonstandard times.
