Responsibilities include:
Assist office manager with all operations of a Dr. Tavel office including hiring and development, staff scheduling, and performance reviews
Improve office performance by using reports and dashboards to monitor performance
Work directly with Office Manager, Regional Supervisors, and the Director of Office Operations to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
Leading by example on the salesfloor by using lifestyle sales techniques to identify visual and lifestyle needs and presenting the best options to the patient to best fit their individual needs.
Assisting with general front office operations: answering the phone, check-in, check-out, and pretesting patients
All things insurance: verifying eligibility, answers questions, and authorizing benefits
Completing training to advance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
Previous management experience is preferred (retail management is a plus)
Previous experience as an Optician is a big plus
A positive attitude and a willingness to strive for excellence
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation
Ability to work evenings 2 days per week and Saturdays
Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus
