ChattAcademy seeks a dynamic and innovative Founding Special Education Teacher to help establish and lead our new special education department. As a founding teacher, you will have the opportunity to drive the vision and programming for how we support students with exceptionalities. As our founding special education teacher, you will play a critical role in realizing our vision to rethink how students with exceptionalities are served. The Founding Special Education Teacher reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Middle School Principal.
Requirements

Experience
Special education teaching experience required
Knowledge of special education processes, law, and best practices
Commitment to inclusion and innovative service delivery models
Growth mindset and passion for shaping department culture and norms
Strong leadership, collaboration, and relationship building skills
Communicator who partners effectively with teachers and families
TN Special Education Teacher’s Licensure
