Job Description:
As a Cloud Engineer/Azure Expert, you will be responsible for managing virtual infrastructure, supporting Cloud migrations, and providing Tier 2 support for our Azure-based software platform. This role requires excellent knowledge and experience with virtual machines and a deep understanding of Azure services. Additionally, you will be involved in developing documentation for our white-labeled Azure-based tools and troubleshooting any bugs or issues that arise on the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Virtual Infrastructure: Oversee and maintain virtual infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Support Cloud Migrations: Assist in planning and executing Cloud migrations for clients, leveraging Azure services.
Tier 2 Support: Provide technical support to clients, addressing issues related to our Azure-based software platform and resolving escalated tickets.
Documentation Development: Develop comprehensive documentation for our white-labeled Azure-based tools, including setup guides, troubleshooting manuals, and best practices.
Bug Fixing: Identify and troubleshoot bugs or issues on our Azure-based software platform, working closely with the development team to implement solutions.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers, to ensure the smooth operation of our Cloud services.
Requirements:
Expertise in Azure: In-depth knowledge and experience with Azure services, including but not limited to virtual machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage.
Virtualization Experience: Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, particularly virtual machines, and experience managing virtual infrastructure.
Cloud Migrations: Proven experience in planning and executing Cloud migrations, with a focus on Azure.
Technical Support Skills: Ability to provide Tier 2 technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems efficiently.
Documentation Skills: Proficiency in documenting technical processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Time Management: Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Availability: Must be able to work within the time zone of Austin, TX, USA (GMT-5), to collaborate effectively with the team based in the USA.
