Requirements
The EHS Manager will report to the Director O&M and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration, coordination, and management of the responsibilities set forth below.
Job Responsibilities:
·         Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
·         Direct knowledge and implementation of NFPA 855 standards related to Energy Storage System.
·         Able to instruct Lithium- ion emergency response training to local firefighters. 
·         Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
·         Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
·         Develops, Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health program procedures for all areas of the organization.
·         Provides guidance on health and safety and confirm site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
·         Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
·         Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
·         Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
·         Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
·         Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
·        Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards. 
·        Extensive knowledge of Lithium-Ion regulations and policies.
·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
·        Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics.
Education
·         Bachelor’s degree- In Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; Master’s degree desirable.
Experience
·         5 years + of direct experience
 
Computer Skills
Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
