Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metro. This opportunity is a great fit for someone who likes to work hands-on with projects from beginning to end, enjoys working with and being supported by a team of Electrical professionals, and is comfortable mentoring early-in-career Electrical Engineers and staff.
With Water and Wastewater projects comprising a significant portion of our project work, we need someone who is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and designing electrical systems including at least 5 years of experience with electrical systems for municipal water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, and pipeline distribution and collection systems.
The Sr. Electrical Engineer:
provides electrical engineering design and leadership to guide the engineering deliverables and electrical project management for a variety of Electrical project types including planning and designing electrical systems for: municipal water and wastewater treatment plants and facilities
storm drainage systems
lighting
transportation
other public and private client projects
independently determines and develops approach to electrical design projects; generates a range of solutions to difficult technical problems
ensures engineering deliverables meet Quiddity's quality standards and client requirements
leads technical meetings and directs interdisciplinary coordination
maintains regular communication with project engineers/managers and provides support for client and stakeholder communications
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Licensed Electrical or Control Systems Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas with or the ability to obtain or transfer within 6 months of hire date
Min. 10 years of experience in the electrical engineering field - including 5 years working with municipal water and wastewater systems
Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record
Experience with power distribution is a bonus
