Great new permanent opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager. My client is a prestigious and award-winning Law Firm located in the Sussex area with offices spanning over the South East.
Due to company growth, the organisation is undergoing a significant software modernisation programme to expand the amount of functionality and to maximise the benefits of the user and the firm.
You will be an experienced Project Manager in the first instance with strong requirement gathering and business analysis skills and have the ability and experience of running a large and busy project from start to finish. Delivering a professional and friendly service, while building internal relationships to understand different department needs.
This is a hybrid role and you will be experienced and confident in gathering your own requirements from the business, then setting up a clear Project plan whilst mitigating risks and issues that may occur.
You will be regularly communicating and working with Vendors and external suppliers, along with managing internal Stakeholders expectations of time frames. The role consists of three large software upgrades and the main and most urgent is an Office 365 implementation/upgrade.
Please note: this role offers hybrid working of two days in the office and three days working from home per week. There is a requirement to travel to the other offices on occasion.
Skills and experience required:
* Minimum of 3 years solid experience as an IT Project Manager
* Experience of implementation/upgrades of Software Solutions
* Solid requirement gathering skills
* Outstanding communicator, verbal and written
* Experience of an implantation or an upgrade of MS Office 365 is highly desirable
* Experience of successfully implanting full software upgrades is essential
* Experience of working with and managing Vendors and external suppliers is essential
* High attention to detail
* Organised and forward thinking
* Friendly and enjoys building internal relationships
* Experience of working on project transferring from a service provider to working in-house would be highly desirable
* Experience of working within a Law firm is desirable, but not essential
* Experience of working within a professional services environment
* Enjoys working collaboratively with team members and the business
