Cleared ISSO

Responsibilities:
Provide ISSO support that will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for the assigned IT.
Ensure that situational awareness is maintained and ensure actions to improve or restore cybersecurity posture are implemented
Implement and enforce all cybersecurity policies, procedures, and counter measures as required.
Complete and maintain required cybersecurity certifications.
Ensures compliancy with all required security clearances and annual cybersecurity training.
Maintain all authorized user access control documentation
Ensures software, hardware, and firmware complies with appropriate security configuration guidelines, e.g., security technical implementation guides /security requirement guides.
Ensures proper configuration management procedures are followed prior to implementation and contingent upon necessary approval. Coordinate changes or modifications with the system-level ISSM, SCA, and/or SCAR.
Required Skills:
US Citizen with an adjudicated DoD Secret Security Clearance
A High School Diploma plus 7 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD or a Bachelor's degree 3 years of experience, 3 of which must be in the DoD.
Strong background working within the cybersecurity space.
