Requirements
Valid certification as a Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) in the state of practice
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Medication Nursing Assistant preferred
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
Ability to accurately calculate dosages and administer medications
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Responsibilities
Administer medication to patients according to physician orders
Accurately calculate dosages and ensure proper medication administration
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects
Document medication administration and patient response
Provide assistance with activities of daily living as needed
Communicate with healthcare team members regarding patients' medication needs and changes

Floating Requirements: Must float to similar units
Experience Required: 2years experience
