Job Description
We are in search of a committed and proficient Hotel Maintenance Technician 1 to become an integral part of our vibrant Resort Operations team. The ideal candidate will undertake a crucial role in upholding the resort's facilities, guaranteeing a secure and pleasurable experience for our guests. This position encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities, including preventive maintenance, problem-solving, and addressing guest inquiries promptly and effectively.
Execute engineering projects as directed by resort leadership.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure the optimal functioning of resort facilities.
Perform basic tasks such as painting, caulking, and repairing wall damages.
Troubleshoot and address plumbing issues in toilets, tubs, jacuzzis, showers, faucets, and sinks.
Reset breakers and GFCIs, replace bulbs, and determine voltage using appropriate tools.
Install, replace, and troubleshoot TVs, remotes, and other electronics.
Troubleshoot appliances, replace minor components, and assist in full replacements as needed.
Actively participate in the procurement and inventory process to ensure materials and tools are readily available.
Utilize resort operations devices and software effectively (e.g., HotSOS).
Follow safety guidelines and practices while recognizing and identifying potential hazards.
Embrace additional responsibilities as delegated by management to contribute to the overall success of the guest experience.
