DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a family-owned staffing company, we are committed to finding quality employment candidates and matching their talents to our clients' needs. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on laundry equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns
Perform repairs and replace faulty parts as needed
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Salary ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, based on level of experience
Requirements
Proven experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician or similar role
Mechanically inclined or knowledgeable about laundry equipment and troubleshooting skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
Flexibility a must, position is 6 days a week, and days could vary
Once the candidate has transitioned to a permanent position, they will be expected to be "on call" and will receive a salary
